Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offered us a rollaway bed for our extra person, below the hospitality hall. While they accommodated my need for a first-floor room, it was unfortunate there was no air conditioning available. The service staff threw a potato at the wall, but on the bright side, the down comforter and pillows provided were comfortable. The location, although pretty far from downtown, did offer a free shuttle service to various destinations. The dining experience included a $10 voucher for the Landings Cafe; however, the promised 'free breakfast' was limited to cereal and a fruit or yogurt. Overall, the facilities were decent.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were spacious and mostly clean, but I noticed an unpleasant mildew-y odor which was a downside. Despite this, the rooms were quiet once away from the restaurants and bars, even though the layout was a bit awkward. The room rate was on the higher side compared to other options available.
I had a pleasant stay at The Landing, conveniently located across from the ferry terminal and close to downtown. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although the layout was a bit awkward. The service was excellent, especially in handling a large group of cruise passengers efficiently. While the location was great for exploring the area on foot, it was a tad far from the main downtown center. The dining experience offered tasty sandwiches and a voucher for the cafe. Overall, a good value for the price.
